Well said as usual. You probably remember there used to be a little (big) retailer devoted to outfitting the pc cowboys of my generation (x) called CompUSA. That’s how I think of the culture we’ve become — one nation under silicon. Capitalism adores products that return the most profit for the least cost or capital investment. Computers do that in spades, and as long as capitalism is the engine of a society, only those who serve it best will be rewarded, with the reward being moneypower. (It’s one thing, like spacetime). It will never leave room for more diverse minded people to run things.
